Curative Services

Curative services are concerned with treatment for HIV and AIDS. At the Health Centre we have professional clinical practitioners skilled to treat opportunistic diseases. If you are HIV positive it is important to attend the Health Centre with any disease at the earliest opportunity. In certain cases, prophylactic treatment (treatment given to prevent diseases) may be indicated. This can be arranged through the Health Centre. It is very important for anyone who is HIV positive and on TB treatment to take a prophylactic drug (Co-trimoxazole) to prevent other opportunistic diseases.

Psycho-social counselling services and support groups are offered to those with a HIV positive status. Please click here for more information.
